My 2024 Role Playing Goals

Keeping it reasonable

2023 was a failure when it came to the amount of games I wanted to run vs how many I actually played. As the saying goes, “What’s done is done”. Onward.

In 2024 I have set more reasonable goals. Here are the 4 (up from 3, I’m doomed) games I want to run this year.

Symbaroum (Free League)

Is a roll under style game with great lore and dynamic combat.

Runehammer Index RPG (Runehammer)

Is a rules light rpg with multiple settings including Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Wild West, Ice Age and Superheroes.

Castles and Crusades (Troll Lord Games)

C&C utilizes the SIEGE engine, replacing the many different game mechanics within AD&D with a single d20 mechanic.

Soul Bound (Cubicle 7)

Is a zone based combat rpg which uses a dice pool mechanic.

This is a pretty diverse set of games but I’m excited to get them to the table.

In addition to running new games in 2024, I want to

• make new DM videos on my channel

• attend/run at a con this year

• build a steady, online group from my Start Playing

I’m sure I have a few more goals tucked away.
