No one likes to hear the words, "I told you so" but the higher ups in my Hex Crawl of Horror are going to get an earful. This is what you get you when you warn people that something dangerous is coming but no one listens.
I created this group of survivors using the newest issue of my zine Crit Happens: The Survivors. I walked through almost 20 tables to create this almost “Office” esque survivor group for my fantasy Hexcrawl of Horror
Here’s what I came up with
Survivor Size: 8
Demographics: Intellectuals and Scholars (most likely teachers/professors)
Leader Style: Egalitarian
Fortification: Caves
Food and Water: Prepped (bottled) with a small stream of water entering the caves.
Medical Supplies: Stored up
Military Training: Hunters and Trappers learned from books (they have a lot of books)
Weapons and Armor: Well equipped (many homemade weapons and devices)
Combat Tactics: Unconventional, Sabotage, Espionage and Assassination
Rules and Laws: Law of Jungle
Religion: Polytheism (they don’t all agree)
Hope and Despair: Preparing for the end
Trade and Barter: Network with other outlaw groups
Alliances and Rivals: Exploits other groups
Exploration/Expansion: Driven by revenge towards those who did not listen
Source of Magic: The Hexing
School of Magic: Abjuration
The Hex Touched: 2 are hex touched, 1 with flying and 1 with divination
Magical Limitations and Risks: Cool down period can only fly every four hours
Magic Items (if any): 1 piece of magic armor and 1 wand
Allied with: If you’ve created other survivor groups, determine which are allies.
Enemy of: Witches and Govt. Officials
Survivor Name: The Prophets

What do you think of this Survivor Group? Which actors would you choose to play these angry intellectuals? Lewis Black, maybe?
