Unbeknownst to anyone but a disgraced academic, the Varkenbluff Museum of Natural History is in grave danger. Archaeologists at a nearby dig site recently unearthed a curiosity: the Murkmire Stone. You must infiltrate the museum, steal the "stone", and return it to Dr. Cassee Dannell before this "stone" reveals it's true nature.

Your friend, Gundren Rockseeker, has hired you to escort a wagon to Phandelver but Gundren, himself, has gone missing. You'll explore Phandelver to look for Gundren and find more than you bargained for including a town under siege and a magic well that, should it fall into the wrong hands, will spell disaster for not only Phandalin but all of the Sword Coast. Your party of adventurers may be be the only thing standing between disaster and hope.
