20 Things You'd Find In The Temple of Habukkuk

Habukkuk is the “god” of animal life and the sea. His temples are found in forrests and woods as well as on the sea shore and high above on cliffs overlooking oceans and seas. In the latter locations, these temples look like lighthouses.

Habukkuk is

• a 27th level druid

• has 490 hit points

• 2 attacks

• has great influence in the Animal and Elemental spheres

What might you find in the temples of Habukkuk? That depends on the location of the temple.

In a forrest

• circle of stone henges (large or small) that offer entrance to the temple

• wooden altars with bowls of pine cones, berries and hemlock

• circles of power for initiation and advancement in skill and knowledge

• animal paintings, carvings, statues and other anamorphic art

• weapon room filled with crescent shaped swords, spears and wooden shields of all sizes

• stable with horses and fantastic beasts who serve as mounts (roll d6 to see how many and what kind)

First roll = Number of mounts

Second roll = Type of mount (have fun and roll twice to get a hybrid)

• two crossed sickles painted on the floor of the sanctuary

• druidic choir and band practice room

• sleeping quarter for four Druids, two Arch-druids, and one Great Druid

• library of woodland folk book including languages, biographies and how tos

By the sea

• temples could be constructed to look like lighthouses, shells or sand castles

• glowing coral altars

• smells like the sea and fish

• underground fishery for storing sea life

• lights for guiding sailor safely to shore but may also have other magical properties

• underwater stable with sea life mounts (roll d6 to see how many and what kind)

• holy water that allows you to breath under water

• floors made of smooth shell

• shell throne for when Habukkuk returns
